In 1968, Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore were two unhappy engineers working for the Fairchild Semiconductor Company who decided to quit and create their own company at a time when many Fairchild employees were leaving to create start-ups. People like Noyce and Moore were nicknamed the Fairchildren. Robert Noyce typed up a one-page idea of what he wanted to do with the new company, and that was enough to convince San Francisco venture capitalist Art Rock to back Noyce and Moores new venture. Rock raised $2.5 million dollars in less than two days by selling convertible debentures. Art Rock became the first chairman of Intel. Intel Trademark The name Moore Noyce was already trademarked by a hotel chain, so the two founders decided upon the name Intel for their new company, a shortened version of Integrated Electronics. However, the rights to the name had to be bought from a company called Intelco first. Intel Products In 1969, Intel released the worlds first metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) static ram, the 1101. Also in 1969, Intels first money-making product was the 3101 Schottky bipolar 64-bit static random access memory (SRAM) chip. A year later in 1970, Intel introduced the 1103 DRAM memory chip. In 1971, Intel introduced the now-famous worlds first single chip microprocessor (the computer on a chip)—the Intel 4004—invented by Intel engineers Federico Faggin, Ted Hoff, and Stanley Mazor. In 1972, Intel introduced the first 8-bit microprocessor—the 8008. In 1974, the Intel 8080 microprocessor was introduced with ten times the power of the 8008. In 1975, the 8080 microprocessor was used in one of the first consumer home computers, the Altair 8800 which was sold in kit form. In 1976, Intel introduced the 8748 and 8048, the first type of microcontroller i.e. a computer-on-a-chip optimized to control electronic devices. Though produced by the USA’s Intel Corporation, the 1993 Pentium was basically the outcome of research conducted by an Indian engineer. Popularly known as the Father of the Pentium chip, the inventor of the computer chip is Vinod Dham.

Answer: Chromatographic technique like HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatogrphy) is specific and sensitive method for method development and validation of quantitative analysis of cocaine in Urine samples. A validated HPLC method was used for the quantitative determination of cocaine and it metabolites like bezoylecgonine, norcocaine and cocaethylene in human urine sample. UV detection was used in this method. Cation exchange extraction column was used to isolate cocaine and its metabolites. Extraction efficiency was proved to be optimum because it was more than 80 %. All the reagents were of HPLC grade. Model 510 HPLC pump was used with Lichrosorb RP-18 10um (25cm x 4.6mm i.d.) column and C18 Novapak guard pak precolumn. 10 g/ml standard stock solution was prepared for cocaine and its metabolites. Calibration curve was prepared using 50, 100, 200, 400, 750 and 1500ng/ml concentrations. Linearity of the method was established by using calibration curve. Linearity should exhibit accuracy a nd precision for measurement of quantity of sample between lower and higher extremes of calibration curve. Quality control samples were prepared at concentrations 50, 400 and 1500 ng/ml. Bupivacaine (0.5g /ml) was used as internal standard. Calibration curve were prepared by plotting each concentration against ratio of analyte peak area and peak area of internal standard. Linearity response was detected for cocaine and its metabolites in the concentration range between 50-1500 ng/ml. Linear regression curve for cocaine, bezoylecgonine, norcocaine and cocaethylene were y = 3.90x +4, y =6.37x -12, y = 5.31x 41 and y = 9.86x + 3 respectively with at least 0.99 correlation coefficient for each analyte. Intraday and interday variability was determined by using seven replicate standard samples. Coefficient of variation for intraday variability was found to be 2.7, 1.1, 3.1 and 2.8 % for cocaine, bezoylecgonine, norcocaine and cocaethylene respectively. Coefficient of variation for interd ay variability was found to be 6.9, 4.98, 3.79 and 7.18 % for cocaine, bezoylecgonine, norcocaine and cocaethylene respectively. Extraction recovery was determined by spiking 400 ng/ml of cocaine and its analyte and comparing its peak areas with unextracted standard. Extraction recovery is useful in validating efficiency of sample preparation method which was cation exchange extraction column method in the quantitative analysis. Recovery for cocaine, norcocaine and cocaethylene were found to be more than 90 % and benzoylecgonine was found to be 85 %. Limit of quantification (LOQ) and limit of detection (LOD) depends on sensitivity of method and type of detection system used in the analytical method. LOD is the lowest concentration of analyte which can be detected and in this signal-to-noise ratio should be greater than 3:1 or 2:1. LOQ is minimum concentration of analyte which can be quantified. In this signa-to-noise ratio should be 10:1. Limit of detection for cocaine, bezoylecgoni ne, norcocaine and cocaethylene was found to be 1ng/ml. Limit of detection for cocaine, bezoylecgonine, norcocaine and cocaethylene was found to be 10 ng/ml. Even though we all have immeasurable opportunities to live our lives more creatively, we only use our creativity sparingly. I think I achieved my highest level of creativity as a child. As a little girl, I was very absorbed in the exhilaration of adventures and inventions. As a result, I was always willing to try new things. I used to dream of becoming an educator. I always wanted to educate people in our society to understand that the opportunity of becoming accomplished and more knowledgeable is for the taking. And also as a person in this society, I desired to emphasize the power of learning. I always thought, and I still think, that education is the foundation of shaping and molding me as an individual in society. As an educator, I always though I could have set the forth ground for the rest of my family in following my footsteps. The excitement and satisfaction of accomplishing that, would have made my life much more meaningful. As I walked through my neighborhood and saw the crime, the homeless, the poverty, the alcoholism, and the suffering, it made me realize that the power of an educated mind was the answer to ending the plague called poverty. As a little girl, I thought the greatest achievement would have been to have the ability to help others to get to a point in their lives where destiny opened up a new door for them. As a child, I would also fantasize that I, as an individual, held a magic wand called education and that would help me change my society's addiction to crime. I still think that the role of education is what shapes our humanity and the more educated our society is, the less crimes and poverty you would see. All of my dreams changed as I got older. As one of the first members of my family to enter college, my one and only focus in life is to work hard and strive as an individual to succeed in the business world. I think I have become more realistic now and I know that one person alone cannot change the course of ignorance many people in our society have set for themselves. Ultimately, I think it is easier if I just focus my attention on reality rather than being idealistic and focusing on possibilities. However, I still think that the power of education is the basis of one's creativity, as well as individuality. I know my life would have been much more different if I would have followed my dreams, but I guess I just have to conform to what it is expected of me. I also have to admit that my imagination can take me too far and I am very afraid of taking risks that can lead to failure.
